If you follow me on Instagram or have read my past few posts, you know that I was in Puerto Rico to celebrate my 30th birthday! Puerto Rico is called The Island of Enchantment – La Isla del Encanto. You don’t truly understand this until you’ve been there. From the stunning beaches of Vieques and Culebra, to the charming colors of the streets of Old San Juan, this island is so easy to fall in love with. Not to be forgotten, the beautiful people of Puerto Rico. Everyone so pleasant and lovely. And why not? If I lived in Puerto Rico, I’m sure I would always be pleasant as well. Ok, maybe relatively always. While I fell in love with everything about this beautiful island, it was the vibrant colors of the streets of Old San Juan that truly stole my heart. In these streets, there is history. There is art. There is music. There is love. There is magic. There is life. I challenge you to walk through the streets of Old San Juan, and not smile. Go ahead. Try it.
I thought this Lulu’s maxi dress would be perfect to spend the day, walking around the streets of Old San Juan. This maxi dress fit impeccably, and was super comfortable and flattering. I got compliments on it all day! The fabric is light and flowy, and the fit is amazing! It’s definitely perfect for any tropical getaway!
By the way, the girls and I were thoroughly obsessed with these Lulu DK Tattoos! I feel like they’re an absolute necessity for a tropical vacation!
Calle San Sebastian
While we were walking around Old San Juan, I was joking how it looks like a movie set. We didn’t see anybody who lived in these buildings. We saw open doors and windows, fans and TVs on, but no people. And we were so curious about what the inside of these buildings look like. So, I asked a local, and got a few things on where I can get a peek at the inside of one of these buildings. Apparently, when you enter most of them, you walk into a beautiful courtyard garden. It’s a thing of dreams, you guys. It’s surreal.

My friend, Yaritza, said I looked very bohemian on this day. What do you guys think? Thanks to Maddy of Madeleine|Blogs, for these outfit photos! Stay tuned for a detailed post about what to do, where to go, where to eat …. in PR. I’ve got some fun scoop, from locals!
