Outfit: Leather Peplum Skirt

Happy Tuesday/Monday, y’all! How was you guys long weekend? Mine wasn’t really exciting or anything, but lots of family time, which was great. Also, yesterday, I went car shopping. OMG, you guys, I’m buying my first car! Even though I paid for grad school, which cost wayyyy more than any car I’m thinking of buying, it feels like this is going to be my biggest purchase to date. Car shopping is no fun though. Car salesmen don’t get a bad rep for nothing – I already came across some really rude ones yesterday! I’m still excited for this, though! Can’t wait to figure out what car I want, and to finally get it! Hope you guys’ long weekend was more exciting.

So, I had been eyeing this leather peplum skirt for a while, and couldn’t believe it was finally on sale. I scooped it up in a heartbeat, and am super obsessed with it! It’s extremely versatile, and flattering! This leather peplum skirt is the perfect piece to transition from summer to fall, and it’s great to go from work to happy hour, no? I actually wore this leather peplum skirt to brunch in the city on Saturday. The minute I got this skirt, I knew I wanted to pair it with a crop top, but I wasn’t sure if the crop top I wore in this post would go well with the leather peplum skirt. I was at Forever 21 the other day, and saw this crop, and thought it would be perfect with this skirt.
