If you’ve read my blog for a while, you probably know I’m a major advocate for denim. So, when ASOS, one of my absolute favorite online retailers, reached out to me about doing a post on ASOS non-jean denim, I was all over it! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see I post a lot of denim outfits. Like, a lot! And I’ve had so many of my own friends tell me that they could never pull off an non-jean denim item. For the sake of my love for denim, I’m here to tell you, that you can. And I, personally, would say you should start with a denim shirt! I think a denim shirt is just as much of a closet staple, as your favorite pair of jeans. In today’s post, I’m sharing three denim shirt outfits, featuring this ASOS Denim Shirt.
Double denim, or the Canadian tuxedo, is one of my favorites! I wore this outfit when I was traveling last week, and it was super comfy, even while I was stranded, at Houston airport, for 8 hours!

Don’t think you can wear a denim shirt to work? Think again! If you work in a business casual environment, pair a dark(er) wash denim shirt, with a fun pencil skirt!

Denim on denim doesn’t always mean blue on blue. It’s always good to mix it up a bit! I wore this outfit, to the event I hosted a couple weeks ago! Perfect for July 4th, no?
