Happy hump day, loves! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw this outfit selfie I posted on Saturday. Lately, I’ve been awful at planning outfits. This past Saturday, I was in the city to visit a friend of mine, and the weather was awful so I just threw on this casual, rainy day outfit. However, I also had another one of my friends’ birthday dinner and party that night. Since the weather was awful, I really wasn’t feeling very motivated to get dressed up. So, at first, I was just planning on adding pumps and a statement necklace to my casual, day outfit, but I know myself. I would’ve been bummed when I was actually getting dressed for the night out, if I didn’t have something nicer to wear. As I was running late (per usual), and going through my closet to find something to wear that night, I realized that I have collected way too many black dresses recently. That’s so not my style! I am getting seriously off track here (totally my style!). Anyways, I was about to settle on a black dress, when I saw this pink wrap dress hanging in my closet. I had scored it a couple months ago, and then completely forgotten about it. This is the story of my life (I know you won’t judge me). Well, this pink wrap dress is sort of simple, but the color and draping make it very pretty, and perfect for a dinner to party night out. It’s just what I needed. I was getting ready to run out the house when I realized I had forgotten something …. shoes! *gasp* Things have been so hectic with me recently, that my room is a huge mess. So, I couldn’t even think straight about what shoes I could pair with this dress. I grabbed the first neutral-ish pair I laid eyes on. Thinking back, I’m so glad it played out that way, because if I had thought about it, I would’ve probably grabbed this pair, but these snakeskin, metallic pumps add a more fun, edgy element to the pink wrap dress. Is it just me, or have I rambled on randomly with this post?
