Outfit: Burgundy Leather Skirt

Happy Monday, lovies! Hope you all had an amazing weekend! This weekend was Diwali, a big Hindu holiday, and today is the Hindu new year! So, I spent time at home, with family. The holiday celebrates the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness. In India, everybody visits family and friends during Diwali, and everyone lights fireworks. I missed India sooooo much this weekend! What did y’all do this weekend?

Now for the outfit – I first started dreaming about a burgundy (or wine) leather skirt when I saw it on Helena of Brooklyn Blonde. I knew I had to have one So, I was shopping for LuckyFABB when I saw this skirt, and I literally squealed and did a little dance right there in the store! I just wore it at LuckyFABB two weeks ago, but y’all know how it is when you find something you love – you just wanna wear it all the time. I also wore it yesterday, with this sweatshirt, but I figured that would be OD, so I didn’t take pictures.

So, I saw this quote on my calendar and had to share it with y’all –

“Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary.” – Cecil Beaton

I hope you all remember that. Have an amazing week, y’all!
