Date Outfit Ideas for Women

Date Outfit Women ImageI can’t believe I forgot to share this with you guys, but I have been guest blogging for this awesome new online dating site for south Asians – SimplyMatchME. My post today on the SMM blog is about three outfit ideas for dates, and I thought it would be a good post to share with you guys as well! The fact is, what you wear on a date absolutely DOES matter! I’ve had guys comment on my accessories, or outfit in general, on several occasions. So, here are three outfit ideas, for three different kinds of dates!

Evening Date: So, y’all are going for dinner …. and preferably dancing! I know most girls run to their trusted LBDs (Little Black Dresses), but y’all know I’m not typically a fan of black outfits. It’s a safe choice. Flattering, but safe nonetheless. Try something different. Something that’ll make you stand out from the pool of LBD-wearing girls he’s dated.

I absolutely love this blue lace dress. The silhouette is very sexy, without being tacky or slutty. The lace makes it very classy. Also, the color is close enough to black, and yet a standout. Keep your accessories neutral, and yet conversation-worthy. I love crossbody bags – they’re extremely convenient. I especially love big crossbody bags so I can carry a pair of flats, in case you wanna go for a walk after dinner. Btw, if this isn’t your favorite silhouette, you can try this skater dress.

Day Date: I actually love day dates, compared to the same ol’ dinner and something. Go to a museum, have lunch and a glass of wine, go to a park and sit and people watch …. the list goes on. However, you don’t exactly wanna walk around a museum or a promenade, or whatever …. in heels.

You can definitely look cute without destroying your feet, and being uncomfortable. This look is very casual, and effortless. The leopard flats are so insanely cute! You can also swap the tank for a black or white one, and add a bold lip color!

Adventure Date: You both like doing outdoorsy stuff, so you decide to go biking. Or hiking. Or both. Or whatever. You don’t have to compromise your look for comfort. You can be comfortable, and still look cute!

How adorable are these New Balance sneakers? And that mini backpack? I think I need that backpack now! This look is perfect for adventurous dates! If you don’t wanna wear shorts, you can swap em for yoga pants!

And there it is. What is your default date outfit?
